The Apex AD-600A DVD player has all the standard features of most DVD players including dual microphone ports to support Karaoke as well as the ability to play MP3 files recorded on a CD.  But w
hat sets this DVD player apart from the rest of the market is the ability to access a secret menu and use it to shut off most of the standard copy-protection features on DVD movies.  This means you can play any DVD from any region.  The region codes are listed below.  For additional information about these unique capabilities I’ve included two printouts: A Washington Post article about this player and an instruction sheet showing how to access the secret menu.
Included in the box is the DVD player, component cables, a coaxial cable, S-video cable, RCA cables, power cable, remote control, and the original user manual.  It ships in its original box.
